This time is the third awards ceremony of the Tongshan Awards \ Scholarship established by Ahanzong, Japan. After strict selection, a total of 27 teachers and students in our school received the 2009 Tongshan Awards Teaching Fund. First of all, Deputy Secretary Jiang Xufan of Beijing Foreign Language University delivered a speech. He pointed out that Ahan Zong, founded by Mr. Tongshan, is a well -known Japanese Buddhist group in Japan. Its purpose is to "maintain world peace, pray for human happiness, and enhance friendship." As an influential religious charitable group in Japan, for a long time, Japanese Ahanzong is committed to world peace, China and Japan, and has made positive contributions to the exchanges between China and Japan in the fields of cultural education, medicine, Buddhism and other fields. Donated many times for my country's education and affected areas. When a large flood occurred in China in 1998, Mr. Tongshan Jingxiong, the president of Ahan Zong, donated 20 million yen to the flood area in my country. In 2003, when the atypical pneumonia epidemic occurred in China, Ahanzong donated 3 million yen to support China to fight against the "SARS". In order to support my country's education, Ahanzong has contributed to a Hope Primary School every year since 2001. After the 5.12 earthquake in 2008, Mr. Tongshan donated 10 million yen to the Sichuan earthquake -stricken area in his personal name to build Hope Primary School. At present, Ahanzong has donated nine hope elementary schools in succession.
