On the afternoon of May 28, the National Hankan's "In the 2010 Confucius Institute's Selection Examination Examination Administrative Training" was held in the ninth -floor multi -functional hall of the foreign research institute. Director Hanban Xu Lin, President Chen Yulu of our school, Deputy Director Zhao Guocheng of the National Hanban, Deputy Secretary of our school Wenjun, and more than 20 interview examiners attended the training session. After the training meeting, our school, Secretary Yang Xueyi, President Chen Yulu, and Deputy Secretary Wen Jun, and Deputy Director of the National Hankan Zhao Guocheng jointly banquet the training examiners.

The training session was chaired by Deputy Director of the National Hankan Zhao Guocheng. He first introduced the basic situation of the selection test of the Chinese dean of the Confucius Institute in 2010. Candidates participating in this selection exam are from the Chinese Confucius Institute in the Confucius Institute to host a school with a total of 208 people. They will compete for 141 Dean of the Confucius Institute. Exam content includes four parts: interview, discussion of leadership group, foreign language ability test, and psychological quality test.

At the training meeting, President Chen first thanked the State Hanban for submitting this selection test to our school. He said that with the strong support of Hanban, our school successively hosted 17 Overseas Confucius Institutes, established the first batch of master's degree in Chinese international education in the country, and established a multi -language base for Chinese international promotion. These all provide an important platform for the school to practice the new mission of "introducing China to the world". He pointed out that cross -cultural leadership capabilities are an important factor in considering the Chinese dean of the Confucius Institute overseas. As the largest number of colleges and universities in the domestic Confucius Institute, Beiwai will continue to work hard to strengthen its own cross -cultural exchanges and communication capabilities, and make positive contributions to the country's international promotion cause.

Director Xu made an important speech. She summarized the experience and achievements of the Confucius Institute in the process of spreading the Chinese language culture, pointed out the challenges and problems facing overseas Chinese teaching in my country under the current situation, and put forward clear requirements for the selection criteria of the Chinese dean of the Confucius Institute. She emphasized that the country attaches great importance to and supports the work of the Confucius Institute overseas. The establishment of the Overseas Confucius Institute has created the advanced model of the international promotion of the country. It is an important support for the "going global" strategy of Chinese culture. Humanities and diplomacy are of great significance. In order to truly realize the functions of the Confucius Institute in international Chinese teaching and cultural communication, it is urgent to strengthen the construction of teachers and the revision of textbooks. In the end, Director Xu Lin also put forward specific requirements for the basic qualities of the Chinese Dean of the Confucius Institute overseas, hoping that they could have a firm political ideological literacy, the hard -working spirit and flexible response ability. At the same time, in the process of selection of the dean, we cannot seek full responsibility, and we must pay attention to cultivating and excavating outstanding talents who can engage in international promotion of Chinese.

After the speech, Director Xu issued a letter of appointment for the interview examiner. Seven comrades including Chen Yulu, the principal of our school, Zhao Guocheng, deputy director of the National Han Office, and Li Wangrong, the Minister of Education, Education Department in the British Embassy. More than ten experts including the former Chinese dean of the Confucius Institute, the leaders of the Confucius Institute of the National Han Office, and some college teachers were the interview examiner. Among them, Ding Anqi and Lu Xiaopeng of the Chinese Academy of our school were hired as interview examiners.

In the subsequent training, Professor Xu Shiyong of Renmin University of China introduced the content of the examiner's interview question. The interview video of the Chinese dean selected in 2009 was also broadcast on the scene.

From the 29th to 30th, the selection test will be held in the teaching building of the Chinese School of our school.
