From October 24th to 25th, the 12th Straits Cross -Strait Foreign Language Teaching Symposium hosted by our school was held. More than 60 experts and scholars from Taiwan Wenzao University of Foreign Languages, Taiwan Furen University, Shanghai Foreign Studies University and our school exchanged discussions around the theme of "Future Foreign Language Talent Training Strategy and Model".

At the opening ceremony, Vice President Yan Guohua delivered a speech on behalf of our school. He said that the "Symposium on the Cross -Strait Foreign Language Teaching" is one of the key projects of our school and Taiwan universities. Since its establishment for 12 years, the four universities have cooperated sincerely, communicated with each other, and made great progress in foreign language teaching. Beiwai attaches great importance to cooperation with Taiwan universities. It has concluded the relationship between sister schools with ten universities in Taiwan. The Symposium on the Cross -Strait Foreign Language Teaching of the Straits is a foreign language professional teaching forum jointly launched by Wenzao University of Foreign Languages, Fu Jen University, Shanghai Foreign Language University and our university in 2004.
