On the morning of May 12th, in order to celebrate the 40th anniversary of establishing diplomatic relations with China and the European Union, the opening ceremony of the EU Language and Culture Festival in 2015 and the unveiling ceremony of the "China -Europe Friendship Garden" were held in cultural squares.

This event was co -organized by our school and the European Union's delegation in China and the Polish Embassy in China. Deputy Minister of Poland's Ministry of Culture and National Heritage, the EU ambassador to China, the ambassador to China in 28 member states of the European Union, or the leaders of the embassy representative, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Ministry of Education and other units, the principal of our school, Peng Long, the deputy secretary of the party committee, Zhao Yan, and the vice president Yan Guohua, Jia Wenjian, and Sun You attended the event. The event was chaired by Yan Guohua.

Peng Long expressed his gratitude and support for the EU Embassy in China and the EU members of the EU for many years. The new development of Sino -European relations has continuously achieved new development and the Chinese and European peoples continue to deepen their friendship.

The EU ambassador to China, Shi Wei, said that with the strategy of China's "Belt and Road", the development of Sino -European relations will definitely embark on a new level, and North Foreign and EU relations will continue to play a unique role.

Monica Smoland, deputy minister of Polish Culture and National Heritage, gave a high evaluation of the importance of the training of various lingy talents in the North outer linguistics in Beijing. At the same time, it emphasized the important role of cultural exchanges in the middle of the Chinese and European people's exchanges.

Ji Mei, deputy director of the European Ministry of Foreign Affairs, talked about her personal experience. She said that the language of Chinese relations in China -Europe relations is very important for the communication between the two sides. Only when the Chinese and European people have the intention to communicate with their intentions, can they truly understand each other and respect each other.

Subsequently, the guests attended the "China -Europe Friendship Garden" on the east side of Building 1 to participate in the unveiling ceremony of the "China -Europe Friendship Garden". President Peng Long, EU ambassador Shi Wei, Polish Culture and Ethnic Heritage Ministry of Culture and National Heritage Monica Smoland, and EU's rotating chairman of the country, Latvian Ambassador to China, unveiled the garden.

"China -Europe Friendship Garden" is a series of activities for the EU delegation to celebrate the 40th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and Europe. It is implemented by our school and Polish Embassy. The garden is composed of 28 ginkgo trees and one cricket tree. 28 ginkgo trees represent 28 member states of the European Union, while the cricket tree is a China -Europe Friendship Tree planted in the 40th anniversary of China -Europe. Ginkgo trees are native to China, and the trees are widely set in Europe. The two Chinese and European characteristic trees will grow together, symbolizing the long -term friendship between China and Europe.

After the unveiling ceremony, the EU ambassador to China Shi Wei made a keynote speech entitled "The 40th Anniversary of the China -Europe Creation of diplomatic relations: Global Challenges" in the International Convention at the Ayu Building, and interacted with teachers and students.

The cultural festival also held a large -scale picture show for "40 years in China and Europe." The picture exhibition is divided into "EU Overview", "relationship between China and the European Union", "relationship between member states of China and the EU" and "Northern Outsiders in China -Europe Relations". The exhibition will show the development process of China and Europe's comprehensive strategic partnerships through nearly 200 precious historical photos, from the perspective of political, economy, and humanities. Objectively show the unique and important role played by our school in the friendship between China and Europe.

In the 2015 EU Language and Culture Festival, the 40th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and the EU will hold this cultural festival to hold the European style carnival, EU cultural academic lectures, the EU countries' anti -fascist film show, the EU Cultural Park, the EU Language and Cultural Festival Evening Fair, etc. Rich and exciting activities introduce the gorgeous EU culture to the majority of teachers and students.
