From December 11th to 13th, 2009, the three -day fourth Confucius Institute Conference was held at the Beijing National Convention Center.

Li Changchun, member of the Standing Committee of the Political Bureau of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China, and Liu Yandong, member of the Political Bureau of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China, participated in the relevant activities of the conference. Professor Yang Xueyi of our school's party committee and Zhang Xiaohui, the director of the Confucius Institute, were invited to participate in the conference.

The theme of this conference is "Confucius Institute and Community Services". Attending the meeting, there were nearly 2,000 principals from 88 countries and regional Confucius Institutes, the Dean of the Confucius Institute, and representatives of domestic universities.

The opening ceremony was presided over by the Minister of Education Yuan Guiren. Member Liu Yandong attended the opening ceremony and gave a keynote speech. Member Liu Yandong emphasized that it is necessary to respect each other, negotiate friendly, work together, work equally, and organize each Confucius Institute to promote the rapid and rapid development of international Chinese education. In the Confucius Institute hosted by our university, Professor Fellenz Husha, Chairman of the Confucius Institute of the University of Roman University, and Professor Masini, Dean of the Confucius Institute at the University of Italy, obtained the advanced personal title.

During the conference, the Headquarters of the Confucius Institute and the National Language Working Committee of China jointly held the "Confucius Institute Resources Exhibition • Multi -Language Exhibition". The museums, the National Language Commission and the provincial language committees, the people (language committees), the domestic colleges and universities and 150 well -known publishing institutions at home and abroad attended the exhibition. This large -scale exhibition includes four contents of the Confucius Institute's resource exhibition, the language exhibitions of various countries, the Chinese language achievement exhibition, and the new product exchange exhibition of language education and information technology.

Our school participated in the exhibition. Our school exhibition board is divided into 6 sections, which introduces the historical revolution, professional settings and multi -language advantages, internationalization school mode, international exchanges and cooperation methods, the new mission of the world, and the development of foreign language textbook development. The attention of Chinese and foreign audiences participating in the exhibition. The Propaganda Department, Academic Affairs Office, International Department, and Chinese International Promotion Bases of our school participated in the design and layout of the exhibition board.
