From October 3rd to 6th, the principal Peng Long visited Hungary to attend the 10th anniversary celebration and related activities of the Confucius Institute of the University of Roland, Hungary.

On the afternoon of October 5th, the 10th anniversary celebration of the Confucius Institute at the University of Roland was grandly held. Liu Yunshan, member of the Standing Committee of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee and Secretary of the Central Secretariat, Mátrai Márta, deputy chief of Hungarian Parliament, Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Economic Minister, íGyártó Isstván, MEZEY BARNA, president of the University of Roland, Hungary Cecília, Ambassador to China, Duan Jielong, Hungarian Ambassador to Hungary, Xu Lin, director of the Headquarters of the Confucius Institute/Director of the National Hankan, and Ma Jianfei, Secretary of the Party Committee/Deputy Director, and Peng Long, the principal of our school, attended the celebration. Some members of the Chinese delegation, from all walks of life, representatives of the departments of the University of Roland, the dean of the Chinese and Foreign Nates of the Confucius Institute in Hungary, and more than 150 Chinese teachers, volunteers and students participated in the celebrations.

Liu Yunshan's speech pointed out that the source of friendship between China and Hungarian is far away. The Confucius Institute of the University of Roland is a unique channel for cultural exchanges and communication between China. Language can become a friendly bridge between the two countries. During the 10 years of development of the Confucius Institute of the University of Roland, it has done a lot of fruitful work, which is a civilian basic force of culture. Liu Yunshan expressed his gratitude for his hard work of the Confucius Institute of the University of Roland's Confucius Institute, and wished the University of Roland's Confucius Institute in the Confucius Institute. In order to support the Chinese teaching of the Confucius Institute, Liu Yunshan presented a birthday gift to the Confucius Institute on behalf of the National Han Office -a set of 20 -seater language laboratory equipment and unveiled the "Belt and Road" research center for the University of Roland.

Before the celebration, Liu Yunshan inspected the Confucius Institute and visited the 10 -year achievement exhibition of the Hungarian Confucius Institute and the "Belt and Road" picture exhibition, observing the Chinese literature courses of Chinese teachers. Seeing the achievements of the Confucius Institute of the University of Roland, Liu Yunshan held President Peng Long's hand and said, "The Confucius Institute in Beiwai has done a good job, and has made positive contributions to the Chinese international promotion!"

At the celebration, Meize, Matraiei, and Igaldo have delivered speeches, which has highly evaluated the positive role of the Confucius Institute of the University of Roland in the past 10 years in promoting the cultural exchanges between China and Hungary and the mutual understanding of the people of the two countries.

The actor of the University of Roland presented a Hungarian folk song and the Chinese folk song "Jasmine" for the celebration. The art troupe was funded by the Han Office and performed in our school and outside last October and was warmly welcomed. The "Chinese Bridge" competition of the Confucius Institute at the University of Roland, Gao Ailin, titled "China -My Second Hometown" as the title, telling that she won the Confucius Institute scholarship last year, and went to study in China to study in China. With warm applause.

The reception of the high visit was planned by the National Hanban, and the Confucius Institute and our school were prepared to implement them. Xu Lin, Ma Jianfei and Peng Long came to the scene to guide them. Our school selected more than 20 Chinese teachers and volunteers to actively participate. With the joint efforts of all parties, the activities are rich and compact, the atmosphere is very cheerful, achieved a complete success, and has been fully affirmed by the Hanban.

During the visit, Peng Long also attended the 2016 Council of the Confucius Institute of the University of Roland. Professor Hao Qingxin, Dean of the Confucius Institute, and Professor Li Min, Chinese dean, reported on the main work of the Confucius Institute in 2015 and 2016, and proposed the future development direction and key projects of the Confucius Institute. The directors focused on how the Confucius Institute rely on the "Central and Eastern European Teachers Training Center" and the "Belt and Road" research center to play a more important role in the development of the Confucius Institute in the Central and Eastern European regions in the future. Peng Long said that he hopes that in the next 10 years, the Confucius Institute will continue to improve quality and highlight its characteristics; the two universities will take the Confucius Institute as a link, stand at a new starting point, and carry out all -round exchanges and cooperation.

During the Hungary, Peng Long also attended the ceremony of the University of Roland awarded Xu Lin's honorary doctorate, visited the Chinese Embassy in Hungary, and met with the president of the University of Roland.

The Confucius Institute at the University of Roland, Hungary was established on December 7, 2006. It was jointly built by our school and the University of Roland, Hungary. It is the first Confucius Institute in Hungary. The Confucius Institute at the University of Roland is a comprehensive Confucius Institute that integrates Chinese teaching, cultural communication and academic research. It has opened Chinese courses in 27 large, middle schools and primary schools in 10 cities across Hungary. Three times were rated as "Advanced Confucius Institute" by the Headquarters of the Confucius Institute/Hanban. In 2014, the world's first overseas Chinese teacher training institution- "Central and Eastern European Teacher Training Center" was established at the Confucius Institute at the University of Roland, making it a regional center for training local Chinese teachers for Central and Eastern European countries. Taking the Confucius Institute as a link, the inter -school exchanges between our school and the University of Roland continued to deepen. In 2015, the Beijing Center of the University of Roland settled in our school, creating more convenient conditions for further promoting the exchanges and cooperation between the two universities. The "Belt and Road" research center, which was just unveiled by the University of Roland, was the first institution to conduct "Belt and Road" related research on the "Belt and Road" overseas.
