From November 18th to 19th, the 5th University Portuguese Debate Competition was held at the Macau Institute of Technology. Teacher Zhang Jianbo, the Department of Western Portuguese Department of our school, led by the team, Portuguese Liu Xun, Chen Rui, and Tie Henen, including three students, won the championship. This is the third time that our school has won the championship.

In the preliminaries held on the 18th, our school team won the favor of the judges with accurate verbal expression and elegant and mature debate style. The final opponent is a team of Shanghai Foreign Studies University. The team of our school has once again won the absolute advantage in terms of language skills, speculative ability and teamwork.

Shanghai Foreign Studies University, Guangdong University of Foreign Studies, University of Foreign Studies, University of Economic and Trade, Xi'an University of Foreign Languages, Tianjin University of Foreign Languages, Macau University and Macau Institute of Technology also participated in this competition. This is the fifth time in our school to participate in the competition, showing the traditional advantages of Portuguese teaching in our school, and the good spiritual style of teachers and students of our school.
