From September 14th to 16th, "from dialogue to understanding" -The 2nd China -Mexican International Academic Symposium was held in our school. The seminar is hosted by our school, co-organized by the Mexican National Autonomous University, the Mexican National University-Beijing University of Foreign Languages ​​University Mexico Research Center, our Western Portuguese Department, and the World Asian Research Information Center.

On the morning of September 14, the opening ceremony of the seminar was held in the fifth floor of the library. The Mexican Ambassador to China, Wen Li'an, Vice President of the State Autonomous University of Mexico, and Han Zhen, the party secretary of our school, attended the opening ceremony and delivered a speech. The opening ceremony was chaired by Liu Jian, director of the Department of Western Portuguese.

Han Zhen reviewed the relationship between China and Mexico and the cooperation process of our school and the State Autonomous University of Mexico, and focused on the relevant situation of the Mexican University of Foreign Studies at the Mexican University of Foreign Studies. Cooperation.

Trigo said that a good cooperative relationship has been established between the two universities, hoping to continue to improve exchanges in the future, and at the same time, it also proposes the desire of establishing a research center for the establishment of a research center in the State Autonomous University of Mexico in the future.

The theme of the seminar is "From dialogue to understanding". The seminar involved a number of themes such as Spanish teaching, literature, history, culture, economy, economy, law, and China -Latinner relations, which are divided into 12 meetings. During the seminar, more than 40 representatives from Mexico National Autonomous University, Renmin University of China, Beijing Second Foreign Languages, Capital Normal University, the Academy of Social Sciences and our school all read the dissertation on different issues and conducted the guests and audiences. On the afternoon of September 16, the closing ceremony of the seminar was held in the library. The Mexican Ambassador to China Wen Li'an, Vice President Trigo, and the vice president of our school, Yan Guohua, attended the closing ceremony and delivered a speech. In his speech, Yan Guohua said that the smooth convening of the international academic seminar is of profound significance, hoping to further promote the exchanges and cooperation between China and Mexico in the future. Trigo said that Beiwai will open the North Outer Center at the State Autonomous University of Mexico to deepen the academic scientific research cooperation between the two parties and expand the scope of teachers and students. Subsequently, Wen Lian, Trigo, and Yan Guohua jointly cut the ribbon for the opening ceremony of the "Mexico and China in my eyes" photography exhibition, and visited the exhibition with guests from China -Mexico and Beijing Wai teachers and students. Most of the works of this photography exhibition were taken by the students of the Western Portuguese language department of our school during the study abroad, showing the visitors the Mexico in their eyes.
