In order to serve the school's "double first -class" construction and further improve the teaching level of foreign language teachers in our school, from May 15th to 16th, the Teacher Development Center of the Personnel Department held the "Effective Method Workshop for Foreign Language Teaching". Internationally renowned foreign language education experts, Jack, Honorary professor of the University of Sydney and the University of Auckland, was invited to communicate with teachers from our university.

Through the combination of teaching and discussion, Richards explained the principles in the method of communication language teaching, discussed teaching methods and teacher development strategies, and explored the cutting -edge research trends in the field of foreign language education. He starts from the details of daily teaching activities to provide suggestions for foreign language teachers to better organize teaching activities and use effective teaching methods to achieve the best teaching effect. In the workshop, teachers will share their teaching experience, discuss curriculum design ideas, exchange work experience, and stimulate creative thinking.

The workshop is chaired by Yao Jinju, deputy director of the Personnel Department and executive director of the Teacher Development Center. Teachers and students from the Academy of English, Special English, Asia -Africa College, European Language and Cultural Institute, Chinese Foreign Language and Education Research Center, etc. participate in workshops.

This workshop is part of the "Face -oriented Teaching Series Workshop". In order to improve the teaching ability of teachers and help teachers to solve practical problems encountered in the teaching process, it will carry out the "facing the future teaching series workshop" for teachers in the school.
