On November 10, the editorial department of the International Sinology held a symposium on the editorial board. More than 20 editorial committees from more than a dozen institutions and research institutions across the country attended the meeting to provide suggestions for the future development of "Sinology". The meeting was chaired by Professor Ren Daidu, the deputy editor of "Sinology".

Professor Zhang Xiping, the editor -in -chief of "International Sinology", awarded a letter of appointment to the editorial board, introducing the major development of "Sinology in International in the past five years. In 2014, with the strong support and efforts of the school, "International Sinology" successfully won the formal issue of the state, ending the history of 20 years of "book replacement". After nearly three years of hard work, "Sinology" in 2017 entered the journal of the source of the Chinese Social Sciences Citation (CSSCI). At present, with the rapid development of the journal, the number of manuscripts has surged, Zhang Xiping is related to the core issues of publication development, strengthen the connection and communication between the editorial committee and the editorial department, and better cultivate issues and young scholars in the field of Sinology. The editor -in -chief of the publication and well -known domestic scholars conducted communication and exchanges.

Experts from the editorial board of the meeting expressed their opinions on the above issues. Professor Rong Xinjiang, Professor Wang Bangwei, Professor Ouyang Zhesheng, Professor Fang Weiji, Professor Wang Xiaoping, Professor Yan Guoping, Professor Xu Zhixiao, Professor Hou Jian, Professor Wang Qianjin, Researcher He Peizhong, Professor Ding Chao, Professor Yang Yisheng, Wei Chongxin Xinxin Professor, Professor Zhang Chaoyi, Professor Che Lin, etc. have put forward many valuable suggestions from the aspects of publishing methods, content content, and publication construction, especially expanding the new growth points of publications, strengthening sinology criticism, cultivating young sinology researchers, using a digital platform In terms of aspects, many constructive opinions have been put forward. Yang Huiling, director of the editorial department, said that according to the suggestions of the editorial board of the experts, in the future work, it will effectively strengthen the communication and interaction between the publishing and editorial committees, publications and authors through effective measures.
