From November 20th to 22nd, the "Material Culture and German Literature Study Model" National Academic Symposium was held in Chongqing. The seminar was hosted by the "German Humanities Research" magazine of our school, co -organized by the German Department of Sichuan Foreign Languages ​​University and the Sino -foreign Culture Comparison Research Center. More than 50 experts and scholars from all universities and research institutions across the country attended the meeting.

Wu Jiang, dean of the German School and Deputy Secretary of the Party Branch, delivered a speech at the opening ceremony. Professor Wang Bingjun, editor -in -chief of the German Humanities Research magazine, spoke the main purpose based on the "meaning of material research". Professor Feng Yalin, Sichuan University of Foreign Languages, Professor Fan Jieping of Zhejiang University, Associate Professor Liu Yongqiang and Associate Professor Chen Min of the University of Foreign Economic and Trade on the cultural significance of things in literary works, "things-humanity" in modernist literature, "material nature in material poetry", "material nature" in material poems "And the work and its role in literature work. In the discussion of the group report, the experts and scholars of the meeting conducted in -depth and meticulous discussion on issues such as the historical evolution of the relationship between people and things, the role of things in culture, the literary performance of things, and the relationship between literature and material.

"German Humanities Research" magazine is an academic journal hosted by our school. Since 2019, two articles have been reprinted by the full text of the Copy Data Center of the National Congress, and nine are reprinted.
