Recently, the Department of Social Sciences of the Ministry of Education announced in November 2020. The major projects of the Ministry of Education's Humanities and Social Sciences Research Bases were released. "(Project approval number :) smoothly, the appraisal level is excellent.

The project is a new exploration of Professor Wang Wenbin in the field of research in English and Chinese. It further confirms the Chinese language proposed by Professor Wang Wenbin in 2013 with strong spatial characteristics and English -speaking theories. The theory believes that the differences in this language characteristics lead to the adequacy of Chinese mother tongue in English because of the negative migration of the strong and spatial thinking of the mother tongue, which is difficult to truly internalize English. The negative migration of the strong time thinking of mother tongue restricts and it is difficult to truly grasp the strong spatial thinking method of Chinese. The research results of the project have important reference value for in -depth exploration of the second language acquisition of English and Chinese.

The project is a major project of the second key research base of the Ministry of Education's Humanities and Social Sciences hosted by Professor Wang Wenbin. The results of the "Influence of Time and Space in British and Chinese on the acquisition of two -language acquisition" project, which were previously hosted, was also identified as excellent.
