Recently, the National College Arabic Essay Contest and the Fifth "That's Arab Novel Translation Contest" were held, and the Arab College students of Beijing Foreign Studies University achieved good results in two competitions.

The National College Arabic Essay Contest is hosted by the National University Arabic Teaching Research Association, the Department of Arabic University of Peking University, and the Middle East Research Center of Peking University. More than 200 participating works in Arabic majors in colleges and universities, 36 students from 19 universities won awards. Zhang Miaoran, a student selected by the Arabic Academy of Beiwai, won the special prize.

In the fifth "that's Arab online novel translation contest" co -sponsored by the Five Chau Communication Publishing House and the Chinese Foreign Literature Society Arabic Literature Research Branch, Li Bowen, a student of Beiwai Arabic Academy, won special prizes. In the second prize, Dong Yuhan and Wu Xinhai won the winning prize, and Wan Ziheng won the annual influence award. The Arab Academy won the Best Organization Award. This event is a national Arabic professional translation competition. It has been held for five consecutive sessions. It has received extensive praise at home and abroad and has become a brand discipline competition.
