On April 28, the historical fruit of the Chinese and Western civilization exchanges- "The Vatican Library of the Vatican Library of the Ming and Qing Dynasties, the History of the Chinese and Western Cultural Exchange History Series" (First Series) Publishing Symposium was held. The meeting was co -sponsored by our school's Chinese Culture Going to the Center for Innovation, the China Overseas Sinology Research Center and Elephant Publishing House.
The "Vatican Library of the Vatican Library Collection of the Chinese and Western Cultural Exchange History Series Series" (first series) published this time is the first achievement of the National Qing History Compilation Committee for eight years. Essence Participants agreed that the publishing of the series was important for the research of the Ming and Qing Dynasties, the history of Chinese and Western cultural exchanges, the history of Chinese Catholicism, the history of Chinese translation, the history of ideas, and the history of Chinese science and technology.

Zhang Xiping reviewed the efforts of the Chinese literature hidden by the Vatican Library in my country to return to China. Pei Zuo Ning described in detail the history and status quo of Chinese literature collected by the Vatican Library. Elephant publishing houses published the situation of overseas sinology and European Tibetan Chinese literature books.
Cheng Chongde, the former deputy leader of the Leading Group of the National Qing History, Yu Pei, the former director of the Institute of World History of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, Wang Qianjin, the director of the Institute of Natural Sciences of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, and Lu Dalong, Secretary -General of the Chinese Society of Natural Sciences of China, Essence Participating scholars conducted in -depth discussions on the major academic significance published by this series and how to conduct further research on Chinese literature collected by European libraries on the basis of the publication of this series.
