On the morning of March 6, the "Chinese Experts Demonstration Meeting of Sino -African Featured Disputes Solution Mechanism" was held in simulated diplomatic negotiation rooms.

The meeting was jointly organized by the China -Africa Law Research Center (located in our school's law school), the Ministry of Outside the Chinese Law Society, and the China International Economic and Trade Arbitration Commission. Yu Jianlong, Secretary -General of the China International Economic and Trade Arbitration Commission, attended the meeting, from the Central Foreign Affairs Office, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Ministry of Commerce, the Supreme People's Court, the Beijing University of Law, the University of Political Science and Law, the University of Economic and Trade, the East China University A total of more than 30 government officials, experts and scholars and corporate representatives attended the meeting. Minister Gu Zhaomin of the Chinese Law Society reported the construction of the Sino -African characteristic dispute resolution mechanism. The meeting conducted a pragmatic and effective discussion on the relevant legal issues of the China-Africa joint arbitration mechanism. The issue has reached important consensus.

The meeting believes that the establishment of a joint arbitration mechanism for China and Africa to strengthen the cooperation of China and Africa in the field of non -litigation disputes, which is conducive to protecting the overseas interests of Chinese enterprises, improving China's foreign legal system, and increasing China's rules in international exchanges in international exchanges. The right to formulate. With China ’s acceleration from attracting foreign capital to foreign investment countries, the establishment of China -Africa joint arbitration mechanism has become a demand for the times. Both China and Africa hopes to establish new rules for arbitration that meets the needs of both parties.
