On November 6, the first annual meeting of the International Relations Association of Foreign Studies Foreign Trade Universities was held in our school. Yang Xiaowei, deputy director of the Policy Planning Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Jia Wenjian, deputy principal of our school, Wang Jingwu, director of the Training Department of the PLA International Relations College, and Chen Yue, deputy director of the Education Professional Teaching Guidance Committee of the Ministry of Education, attended the opening ceremony of the annual meeting. The heads of international relations disciplines from 15 foreign language colleges and universities across the country attended the annual meeting.

Jia Wenjian congratulates the establishment of the cooperation association, hoping that the establishment of the Association will better promote the talent training and discipline construction of international relations disciplines of foreign language and foreign trade colleges. Yang Xiaowan combined with the specific requirements of foreign affairs of party and state, and put forward specific requirements for the training of international relations, discipline construction, scientific research, and service decision -making of foreign language and foreign trade colleges.

In the keynote speech, Chen Yue put forward specific suggestions on the development of foreign languages ​​in accordance with the situation set by international relations majors in colleges and universities in the country. The achievements achieved with discipline construction, combined with their own development, analyzed the opportunities and challenges faced by international relations disciplines in foreign trade colleges and universities.

Participants introduced the development of international relations disciplines in their respective institutions, and discussed around the problems facing the construction and development of international relations majors in foreign languages ​​and foreign trade colleges and universities.

The meeting passed the "Articles of Association for International Relations of Foreign Studies and Foreign Trade Universities", and produced the first -time cooperative committee director unit. Our school became the chairman of the Association. As the vice chairman unit, the Secretariat of the Association is located at the School of International Relations of our school.
