From October 10th to 17th, after recommending the volunteer expert project of the State Foreign Expert Bureau, at the joint invitation of the International Department of our school and the Central Eastern European Research Center, the president and CEO of the US International Manager Service Organization (IESC) Lady, Mrs. Bangni Miller, gave a week of lectures at the Central and Eastern European Research Center, setting off a "Balkans research" boom in our school.
Thomas Miller has been a 29 -year diplomat, and has successively served as the United States in Bhiard and Greece. He has a wide and in -depth research on the Balkans. After the work and life of Bosnia and Herzegovina, and often travel to Kosovo, in -depth research on the post -war crisis disposal. In this lecture, they combined their own personal experiences and feelings, respectively, "conflicts and their solutions", "Greece and its status quo", "Bosnia -Herzequin War and their experience lessons", "the future of the Donett and the Positives", "Bosnia and Herzegovina" The topic such as the Six Party negotiations "and other themes hold a lecture on unique sites. While the lecture conducted theoretical interpretation and in -depth analysis, there were also interactive links such as small experiments, role -playing, scenario simulation, answering test questions, etc., so that the speaker could listen to the lecture scholars and students to conduct exchanges and discussions on the Balkans hot issues. The atmosphere at the scene was warm.
Teachers and students of the Central and Eastern European Research Center of our school, teachers and students of the European Language and Cultural Institute, some students from the School of International Relations and the School of English, and researchers from the Eurasian Research Office of the Eurasian Institute of Social Sciences attended the lecture throughout the process. Director Liu Yongzhi of the China International Talent Exchange Association was invited to attend a lecture on the "Six Party Negotiations" of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
This academic activity set off a "Bargan research" boom in our school. Whether it is the Bargan region and the country, the country, the language learner or the foreign teacher from the Balkans, everyone has shown a strong interest in the problems talked about by the Thomas couple. Throughout the lecture, the knowledge, wisdom, tolerance and dedication of the two experts showed a deep impression on the audience. Invited American scholars to come to China to carry out academic exchanges on the Bargan State and regional issues, and will provide a new perspective on the research of my country's regional research in the future. It is also a new attempt to make international academic cooperation and foreign experts.
