From September 24th to 25th, the "Sino -German think tank and Sino -German relations" international academic seminar was held in the conference room 507 of our school's administrative building. The seminar was sponsored by the German Department, and well -known think tank scholars from China, Germany, and Switzerland gathered together to discuss on the construction of the Sino -German think tank, the cooperation between China and Germany think tanks, and the relationship between think tanks and Sino -German relations.

Jia Wenjian, deputy principal of our school, attended the opening ceremony of the seminar and delivered a speech. Jia Wenlian introduced the experience of the Beijing Foreign Language and Foreign Language Talent to the participating scholars, as well as the role of serving a national strategy in the past years, building a new think tank, and assuing the role of "let China understand the world and letting the world understand China". In the following theme discussions, Dr. Bram, the German Foreign Policy Association (DGAP), Dr. Turnellt, University of Heidelberg, Germany, Dr. Gao Tingting, deputy director of the Asian Research Department of the Institute of International Policy and Security (SWP), Germany Dr. Pei Si, the Institute of Regional Research (GIGA), as well as the research of Renmin University of China, Tongji University, Fudan University, Zhejiang University, Foreign Economic and Trade University, Beijing University of Foreign Languages, China Social Science Evaluation Center, China Modern International Relations Research Research Nearly 20 domestic experts including the Academy and the Jiangsu Provincial Institute of Social Sciences and World Economic Research reported on their respective research priorities.

Participating experts agreed that the opportunity of the construction of a new type of think tank with Chinese characteristics should be seized, in -depth research and drawing on the experience of think tank construction in developed countries represented by Germany to promote the construction of China's high -end think tanks. In the context of the times, promote the development of Sino -German relations and develop the global dimension of Sino -German cooperation. At the same time, experts exchanged each other's experience on the difficulty of think tank research, such as the measurement method of think tank influence and the indicator system of think tank evaluation.

Participating experts summarized the historical process, fruitful results and development prospects of China research in Germany and Germany in China; The identity, how to use it on the basis of maintaining the scientificity of academic research, and to provide suggestions for political decision makers. Experts from domestic and foreign experts fully affirmed the achievements of North Foreign and Foreign Language Talent training and the bold attempts made in the research of national think tanks.
