On the afternoon of March 6, the Malaysian Ambassador to China Datu Eskida Sarudin visited our school and delivered a speech entitled "Malaysia -China Relationship: The role of diplomacy and youth".

In a welcome speech, President Han Zhen said that the friendship of China and Malaysia has a long history. As one of ASEAN as one of the important member of ASEAN, Malaysia has played an important and positive role in regional affairs under the ASEAN framework. It is hoped that the exchanges and cooperation between Beiwai and Malaysia will continue to make more contributions to the development of relations between the two countries. Secretary-General of China-ASEAN Center Ma Mingqiang introduced the resume of Ambassador of Datu Eskida Saruding.

Ambassador of Datu Eskida Sarudin reviewed the long history of bilateral exchanges between Malaysia and China in his speech, and analyzed and looked forward to the current situation and development prospects of the relationship between Malaysia and China. Ambassador Sarudine said that Malaysia has a long history of exchange with China. As early as 600 years ago, Zheng He went to the west five times to pass Malacca five times, opening the door of friendly exchanges between the two peoples. Since the establishment of the Communications of Malaysia, the high -level visits between the two sides have frequently visited each other, and the civil exchanges have become increasingly abundant, which has further enhanced the friendship between Malaysia and China. As the successor of the development of the two countries, the younger generation should play a due role in the field of foreign affairs and make their own contributions to the friendship of Malaysia.

After the speech, Ambassador Sarudin answered questions from our school teachers and students, and communicated with you on issues such as education exchanges between China and Malaysia and China and ASEAN.

Vice President Zhong Meizheng presided over the speech. More than 200 students from Malaysia Embassy in China, officials at the China-ASEAN Center, and more than 200 students from Malaysian students studying in our school attended the lecture.

Before the speech began, Ambassador of Datu Eskida Sarudin and his party visited the Malaysian Research Center in the main building and had a discussion with teachers and students in Malay. Ambassador Saruding expressed his affirmation of the work of the center, and encouraged Malay students to master Malay, understand Malay culture, and do the "little ambassador" to strengthen the relationship between China and Malaysia.

President Han Zhen met with Ambassador Saruding and Secretary -General Ma Mingqiang. The two sides exchanged the study situation of the Malay professional construction, the future development of the Malaysian Research Center, and the study of Malaysian students in Beiwai. Vice President Zhong Meizhen, Professor Wu Zongyu, Director of the Malaysian Research Center, and Li Youwen, Director of the International Division, attended the meeting.
