At 8 pm on January 19th, Rome time, the first performance of the Beijing University of Foreign Studies "Back to Visit Marco Polo's Hometown" kicked off in Rome.

Yang Changchun, Educational Counselor of the Embassy in Italy, Martini, Dean of the Oriental College of the University of Rome, and Chen Yulu, the principal of our school, attended the event and delivered a speech.

This performance is an important part of the "Three Tour" activities of the National Hanban, and the starting point of the "Three Tour" activities in 2011. To this end, Beiwai specially arranged cultural programs with Chinese characteristics, and designed and produced the Chinese Spring Festival theme exhibition board.

The evening party began in the festive atmosphere of Chinese traditional instrument performance "Hi Yangyang". The Peking opera "Sky Girl Sanhua", "Wild Pig Forest", "The Concubine Drunk", the Uyghur dance "Come on, Girl", Dai dance "Shao Duoli ", Martial arts performances and traditional Chinese culture and calligraphy performances present a unique and beautiful Chinese cultural feast for Italian audiences. The performance lasted for an hour and a half, the climax was overwhelmed, and applause was thunderous. At the end of the performance, the audience refused to leave for a long time, and took a group photo with the actors to express their love for Chinese culture.
