At the report meeting, the heads of the Security Office, Organization Department, Propaganda Department, Student Work Department, Logistics Management Office, International Exchange and Cooperation Office, Confucius Institute Office, Personnel Office, Scientific Research Office, Academic Affairs Office, Graduate School and other departments, respectively During the "Thirteenth Five -Year Plan" period, the eight special planning preparation work made a special report, which explained the development goals, overall ideas, main tasks and construction measures for the special planning. After reporting some of the person in charge of the special plan, all school leaders reviewed the work ideas of the special planning in charge one by one. The school leaders believe that each special plan should start from the development of the school as a whole, and design the system from a strategic perspective. In terms of planning formulation, we must adhere to the problem orientation and focus on solving difficulties.

The party secretary Han Zhen and the principal Peng Long made a concluding speech. Han Zhen put forward three opinions on the establishment of the "Thirteenth Five -Year Plan": First, the planning and establishment work must meet the needs of national strategy and social development. The strategy of national development is internationalization, so a large number of foreign foreign affairs are required. This is the basis for us to connect with the needs of the country; the second is that the planning work must meet the school's school characteristics. Beiwai should cultivate international talents who are well known to foreign languages ​​and international rules, so we must solve problems around this goal; third, planning and preparation must conform to the laws of discipline development, adhere to problem -oriented, and study real problems.

Peng Long put forward several specific requirements for the establishment and implementation of the "Thirteenth Five -Year Plan" planning. First, the functional department must connect to the college's planning ideas as soon as possible, demonstrate the corresponding supporting policies and measures, and form the "13th Five -Year Plan" special planning ideas. The plan is to be practical; the second is that the colleges should further plan for development, pay attention to the changes in the external world, strive to seize the opportunity, and fully release the vitality of running the school; the third is to adhere to the problem -oriented, innovate work ideas, and break through the bottleneck of development. During the meeting, Professor Wen Qiufang, director of the school academic committee, made a special report on our school's preparations for the establishment of Xu Guozhang Language Research Institute.
