From October 17th to 20th, the 19th Strait Cross -Strait Foreign Language Teaching Symposium was held at Furen University. The theme of this seminar is "Turning in Foreign Language Education, Cross -domain and Innovation." Zhao Gang, member of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee and Vice President of Beijing Foreign Studies University, attended the opening ceremony and the principal forum and gave a special speech. Nearly a hundred experts and scholars from four universities including Beiwai, Shanghai Foreign Studies University, Fu Jen University, and Wenzao University of Foreign Languages attended the meeting.
Zhao Gang delivered a speech under the title of "developing non -general language education and promoting the exchange of Chinese and foreign people's hearts".
