"China International Issue Research Youth Scholars Forum • 2014" Was Held

On October 18, the "China International Issues Research Young Scholar Forum • 2014" was held in the conference hall of the Public Diplomacy Research Center. The forum was hosted by the School of International Relations.

The forum was chaired by Wang Mingjin, deputy dean of the School of International Relations, and Zhao Zongfeng, Minister of the Propaganda Department of the Party Committee, and Guo Qiqing, deputy director of the World Asian Research Information Center. More than 30 young scholars from Beijing, Shanghai, Chongqing, and Sichuan were actively attending the meeting. Two young scholars from the University of Chicago and Georgetown University also participated in the discussion. "Contemporary Asia -Pacific" executive editor -in -chief, Zhang Xiaomin, deputy secretary of the Party Branch of the School of International Relations, Peng Pingping, Director of the Editorial Department of "Contemporary World and Socialism", and Wang Mingjin, deputy editor -in -chief of "International Forum", presided over four periods of discussions, professors of the School of International Relations Zhang Zhizhou made a summary speech.

The "China International Issues Research Young Scholars Forum" has been held eight consecutive sessions so far, and has received strong support from the Scientific Research Office, the Propaganda Department and the World Asian Research Information Center. It has played an important role in promoting the academic growth of young scholars, and has become a brand -based annual event that highlights the academic influence and appeal of the School of International Relations.
