Teacher Development Center Holds Cross -cultural Teaching Workshops

In order to cooperate with the school

In order to cooperate with the school's "double first -class" construction and further improve the internationalization level of our school teachers, on November 14, the Dr. Director of the Cross -Cultural Research Center of British Columbia University (OF), Canada, was invited by the Teacher Development Center of the Teacher Development Center to come to our school to hold it. "Cross -cultural Teaching" workshop.

_The Teacher Development Center holds cross -cultural teaching workshops

Through case analysis, scenario simulation, group discussion, etc., the doctor started from the details in daily life and revealed to the students that in the context of multiple culture, people's differences in thinking habits and behaviors showed the differences in culture and language. The communication skills below are provided for how teachers cross cultural differences in teaching activities, and provide suggestions for effective communication.

The lecture was chaired by Yao Jinju, deputy director of the Personnel Department and deputy director of the Teacher Development Center. Teachers, teachers and students of many units in the school, as well as teachers from Xinjiang University, Tibet University, Beijing University of Technology, University of Technology, University of Foreign Economics and Trade, participated in the workshop. The workshop has a total of four phases, and the third and fourth workshops will be held in the conference room on the first floor of the Yifu Building on the morning of November 15th and 16th.
