From April 7th to 8th, the second national Arabic professional discipline development and curriculum construction seminar was held in our school. The seminar was sponsored by the Arabic College of our school and received strong support from the Arabic Sub -Committee of the Ministry of Education's Foreign Committee of the Ministry of Education, the Academic Association of the Arabian Friendship Association, and the Arabic Teaching Commission. More than 60 teacher representatives from more than 30 colleges and universities from Peking University, Beijing Language University, University of Economics and Trade, Beijing Second Foreign Language Institute, and Shanghai Foreign Studies University participated in the seminar.

Jia Wenjian, deputy principal of our school, attended the opening ceremony and delivered a speech. Professor Zhou Lie, Chairman of the Audi Sub -Committee of the Ministry of Education, and Professor Wen Qiufang, the director of our school's academic committee, gave the "focus of attention to classroom teaching" and "the cultivation of key abilities in foreign language courses: thinking and suggestion" The main purpose of the conference.

The theme of this seminar is "Classification of Basic Professional Core Literacy". Participants and scholars carried out a warm and deep discussion about the composition, connotation, characteristics and interrelationships of the core literacy of Arabic majors in the new era from different perspectives and different levels. On the morning of the 8th, the seminar held a second -year intensive reading course seminar and expert review. Ren Hongzhi, a lecturer in Lanzhou Jiaotong University and a doctoral student at the Arabic Academy of Our School, conducted a teaching display in the sophomore intensive course. Associate Professor Ye Liangying of the Arab Academy later took the title of "Skills, Ability and Trial -Thinking for the Teaching of III III Courses". , Commented on this teaching display.
