From November 28th to 29th, the 6th China -Australia Relations and Cross -cultural Research Forum was held at Western Australia University in Australia. Sun Youzhong, president of the Australian Research Association and vice president of our school, attended the forum and delivered a speech. The theme of this forum is "the rise of China and Australia". Dozens of top experts and scholars from China Australia exchanged issues around China -Australia relations, economic and trade exchanges, cross -cultural exchanges, and other issues.
Xie Tao, deputy dean of the School of English, presided over the "Exchange Student Exchange" sub -forum, and delivered a speech in the main purpose of the forum to explore the development of Sino -Australian relations from the perspective of security, economy and identity. Li Jianjun, director of the Australian Research Center of our school, analyzes the prospects of the relationship between the two countries from the perspective of culture.
Since its establishment in 2013, the China -Australia Relations and Cross -Cultural Research Forum has been organized by our school's China -Australia Cross Cultural Research Center (CATS) and Australia -China Cross -Culture Research Center (ACTS). Cross -cultural research has expanded to all disciplines in relations between the two countries. The 7th China -Australia Relations and Cross -Cultural Research Forum will be held in our school in 2019.
