On July 5th, the opening ceremony of the International Elementary School of 2021 in Beijing Foreign Studies University was held online. Sun Youzhong, member of the Standing Committee and Vice President of the Beiwai Party Committee, attended the ceremony.

Sun Youzhong welcomed and thanked teachers and classmates from home and abroad. He introduced the global strategy of Beiwai, saying that Beiwai will focus on serving the country's global strategic capabilities, scholars' global competitiveness, student global competence, and school global influence. Summer international elementary school is an important part of the global strategy. It provides students with a window that is exposed to the world. Related courses are the useful supplements of Beiwai general education courses, which has improved the international level of Beiwai's undergraduate education. It is hoped that experts will enhance friendly contacts with the teachers and students of Beiwai, become a bridge between Beiwai and schools from all over the country, and recommend the Beibei Summer International Elementary School to students and teachers.

Foreign experts from all over the world introduced themselves through live and recording videos, expressing their affirmation of the level of summer school -running and expectations for this online lecture. Five courses have expressed their willingness to serve as a courses in the summer vacation primary school. They not only exercise their ability to cross -cultural communication, but also provide more help for teachers and students.

In the summer of this year, we invited 13 well -known experts from all over the world to offer courses. The number of courses includes students in Beiwai School, students from 5 colleges and universities in China, and a total of 181 foreign students.
