Recently, the China Social Science Evaluation Center of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences released the 2014 "China Humanities and Social Science Journal Evaluation Report". Our school's "Foreign Language Teaching and Research" was awarded the "authoritative journal" in the field of linguistics.

The Chinese Social Science Evaluation Center of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences made a comprehensive evaluation of 733 Chinese humanities and social science journals in 23 disciplines based on multiple indicators such as attractiveness, management and influence. 40 authoritative journals, 430 core journals and 246 expansion journals. Among them, there are 1 top journals, 2 authoritative journals, 19 core journals, and 10 types of journals. "Foreign Language Teaching and Research" was rated as "authoritative journal" in the discipline of linguistics and followed "Chinese Chinese".

On December 16, the "2014 China's Most International Influential Academic Journal and China Academic Journal International, and Domestic Citation Report Conference" was held at Tsinghua University. Following 2013, "Foreign Language Teaching and Research" was again selected as "China's Most Influential Academic Journal" due to higher indicators such as 130 international references.
