On September 24th, the 2016 National Social Science Fund's major project "Research on Chinese Cultural Images in Overseas Think Tank", which was undertaken by the Canadian Research Center of the Academy of English, the Ministry of Education, and the National Research Base, held a opening question and launch meeting.

Han Zhen, Secretary of the Party Committee of our school, and Wang Lei, director of the Social Sciences Department of the Department of Culture and Technology of the Ministry of Culture, attended the meeting. Zhang Jian, Dean of the Academy of English, from the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference, Beijing Social Sciences Planning Office, Beijing Press Office, Renmin University of China, China International Issues, China International Issues Research Institute, Beijing Normal University, Communication University of China and other units and colleges and universities, as well as project team members attended the meeting.

Professor Liu Chen, chief expert of the project, made a project report. From the aspects of the basis of establishment, research content, project settings, research foundation and schedule, the main situation of the project was introduced in detail.

After careful discussion, experts have formed review opinions, and highly affirmed the research content and implementation plan of the project.
