On December 5th, the academic seminar of "Literature Translation in Globalization: Status and Reflection" was held in our school. This meeting was hosted by the German Department of our school. Experts and scholars from China, Germany, and Switzerland attended the meeting. Jing Bartz, a cultural project consultant and a freelance writer from Germany, believes that Germany's publisher currently has a frustration of Chinese contemporary literature. Ouyang Tao, the director of the Foreign Editorial Department of the People's Literature Publishing House, reviewed the publication of German literature since the new century of the People's Literature Press, and introduced his experience of being engaged in German literature editing for many years. Associate Professor Zhang Shisheng of Xi'an University of Foreign Languages ​​and Feng Xiaobing, a doctoral student in the Department of German in our school, introduced the translation of Chinese literature in Germany in the 1980s, as well as the translation of Jia Pingwa's works in the German region. Xu Ruonan, a doctoral student of the Department of German in our school, introduced Wei Lixian's dynamic translation concept, and discussed with the participants on this basis, he discussed his views on what "classic translation" and his mechanism. Swiss sinologist and translator Eva Lüdi Kong introduced his experience in the process of re -translation of "Journey to the West". Through comparison with the existing German version, he showed the transformation in Sino -German literature translation for decades. Professor Huang Yiyu of Peking University proceed from personal translation practice and showed some common problems in literary translation to the participants.
