On the evening of November 17, the sixth lecture on the "Research on Contemporary China Hot Issues" was held in the auditorium of the 300 Electric Education. The lecture was jointly organized by the research center of the Academic Affairs Office, the Propaganda Department, the Personnel Office, and the North Waifu Group. Cui Zhiyuan, a professor and doctoral instructor of the School of Public Management of Tsinghua University, gave a lecture entitled "G20, TPP and China's new role in China's global governance system". The lecture was chaired by Professor Sun Wenli of the International Business School of our school.

Professor Cui Zhiyuan introduced the development and evolution of international economic collaboration and economic systems with time, including the global economic conditions in the late 19th century, the background and role of the establishment of the Bretton Forest System, the 1971 economic crisis, the disintegration of the Bretton Forest system, etc. content.

On the basis of briefly sorting out the development history of the international economic system, Professor Cui Zhiyuan further analyzed the mechanisms of different international organizations such as G20 and TPPs such as G20 and TPP, and the "Trifen problems" in the modern international economy. The status and role in the system explore the constructive role that China can play in this new type of international governance system.

In the question session, the teachers and students of our school discussed and interacted with Professor Cui Zhiyuan on issues such as experimental governance and traditional governance system.

Cui Zhiyuan, a professor and doctoral supervisor of the School of Public Management of Tsinghua University. In 1995, he was a Ph.D. in Political Science at the University of Chicago in the United States. He was taught at the Department of Political Science at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in the United States, and was engaged in research at the Institute of Harvard University, Harvard University and Singapore National University. The Professor of Outstanding Visit Professor of the Law School of Cornell University, part -time professor of High Research Institute of Humanities and Social Sciences of Chongqing University, from May 2010 to July 2011, he was the assistant to the director of the Chongqing SASAC. The main research interest is in the fields of political economics, legal economics and political philosophy, and authored Chinese works such as "Paradigrants of Invisible Hands" and "Institutional Innovation and Second Ideological Liberation".
