On the afternoon of March 24th, the acceptance meeting of the Beijing "Overseas Beijing Researcher Database" project for the Global History Research Institute, Professor Li Xuetao, was held in the conference room 504 of the administrative building. The acceptance team composed of Yin Yan, director of the results of the Beijing Philosophy and Social Science Planning Office, the deputy director Xiao Long, and the cadre Fan Xianghua, as well as Sun Yu, dean of the School of Literature of the Renmin University of China, Professor Zhou Yue, Beijing Language University, the Chinese Academy of Sciences The expert group composed of Hu Lianglin, deputy director of the Department of Big Data Technology and Application Development of the Computer Network Information Center, carefully listened to the report.
Li Xuetao made detailed reports on the basic situation and implementation of the project from the three aspects of project management, technology research and development, and systematic demonstration. The "Overseas Beijing Researcher Database" has the characteristics of rich content information, extensive national language, complete discipline categories, reliable data sources, and convenient statistics. The project team not only developed the "Beijing Researcher Database" retrieval of the CD, and tried to process and apply information with less data volume, but also established an independent "CD -ROM Database Treatment Platform", including the realization of information list display, information combination search, and information. The main functions such as the full text retrieval and information analysis make the special search system for small data in the future possible.
After the report was over, the research results of Professor Li Xuetao's project team were identified as "high application value and academic value". The overseas communication of Beijing culture and the worldwide value of Chinese culture have set up a good platform. The results of the project have been fully affirmed by the acceptance team at the same time, and the appraisal level is excellent.
