Recently, the doctoral dissertation of Gao Rui, a young teacher of the School of English, who studied for a doctorate in Yale University, has won the "John Prize" and the Best Doctoral Papers of the Department of Sociology of Yale University in Yale University's highest doctoral dissertation award "B. B. Best Award ".
Yale University's "John Prize" is the highest -level doctoral dissertation award in the school. Only a doctoral graduate of not more than two doctoral academic achievements in its professional field is awarded each year. Gao Rui is the first Chinese student who won the award since the establishment of the award in 1872. "B. Award" is the most prestigious doctoral dissertation award at the Department of Sociology of Yale University, and has awarded the most academic doctoral dissertation in two years.
