On the morning of December 7, the Beijing Municipal Philosophy and Social Science Planning Research Base Project- "Research on the Cultural Adaptability of Students in Beijing" Expert Consultation Meeting was held in foreign research institutes. Chinese teaching experts and members of all project teams from 7 universities including Peking University, Tsinghua University, Renmin University of China, and Beijing Normal University attended the meeting.

Zhang Chaoyi, the director of the "Beijing Foreign Cultural Exchange and World Cultural Research Base" and the director of the Scientific Research Division, introduced the relevant situation of the base, expressed the desire to exchange cooperation with other universities, and put forward the expectations of this project. The person in charge of the project team and the dean of the Chinese Academy introduced the basic situation of the project and members of the project team, and reported the progress of the project and the problems encountered. Participating experts highly affirmed the significance and value of the selection of this project, and discussed the project's methods, implementation, and existing survey materials, and put forward many constructive suggestions.

Through this consultation meeting, the project team of the Chinese Academy has a clearer positioning of the project's positioning, purpose, and direction. It has a clearer idea of ​​the research methods, the design, implementation, and the expected research results. The goal of sharing with the resources of colleges and universities in Beijing.

The "Research on Cultural Adaptability of Students in Beijing" project is one of the first batch of projects since the establishment of the "Beijing Cultural Exchange and World Cultural Research Base" of our school, and it is borne by the Chinese School of Language and Literature. The project takes foreign students from different types of colleges and universities in different types of colleges and universities as research objects. It investigate, analyze and summarize the cultural adaptation of students in Beijing through questionnaire surveys, international students' symposiums, case interviews, and essay competitions. Language, life, academic, social, environmental, and other problems and existing problems, and then provide suggestions for the cultural adaptation of Beijing international students and the cultural construction of Beijing.
