On April 26, the 3rd China Comparative Law Forum (Law FORUM) and the "Intellectual Property Judicial System: Comparison and Reference" academic seminar was held in the library.
This forum is hosted by the Chinese Law Society's Comparative Law Research Association, and hosted by the school's law school and Guangdong Foreign Investment Law Society. The vice president of our school, Yan Guohua, and Liu Zhaoxing, president of the Chinese Law Society, attended the opening ceremony of the forum and delivered a speech. The meeting was divided into four links, discussed the judicial system, common laws and references of the intellectual property characteristics of various countries; possible ways and problems in the establishment of an intellectual property court; The judicial solution of specific intellectual property issues such as the judicial regulation of intellectual property border infringement; academic themes such as comparative methodology and intellectual property law. The discussion fully reflects the role of the forum's interdisciplinary, cross -domain exchanges, the development of comparative law and departmental law, and deepening the understanding of the theory and practice world.
At the closing ceremony, Li Xiaohui, an associate professor at the School of Law of our school, made a closing speech. Professor Wei Huateng, executive vice president of Guangdong Foreign Investment Law Society, promoted the next forum. The 4th China Comparative Law Forum will be held in Guangdong in the second half of 2015, and the theme will be carried out around the "comparative study of legal issues of the free trade zone".
The "China Comparative Law Forum" was jointly organized by the Chinese Law Society's Comparison Law Research Association, our school's law school, Guangdong Foreign Investment Law Society, and aimed at improving the level of comparative law research and deepening the comparison of the laws and laws of law and law. The exchanges of the practical department promote the practice aspect of comparative law research. The first two forums were held in Beijing and Guangzhou in 2012 and 2013, and have achieved good social effects and academic impacts.
