On November 10th, the opening ceremony of the 2015 Palace and Opera Research Forum organized by Beijing Foreign Languages ​​University, the Palace Museum and Renmin University of China, and hosted by the Academy of Arts of our university was held in the Palace of the Palace Museum. More than 30 experts and scholars from the mainland, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Macau and other places submitted papers to the forum. The responsible comrades of the Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan Overseas Chinese Committee of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference, the Ministry of Culture Department, and other responsible comrades congratulated the forum. Zheng Xinmiao, Dean of the Palace Museum, and Peng Long, the principal of our school. The opening ceremony was chaired by Professor Sun Ping, Dean of the Art Research Institute.

In his speech, Peng Long said that building a world -class university and first -class disciplines need to shoulder the responsibility of inheriting the excellent traditional culture of innovation, strengthen cultural awareness and institutional self -confidence, form a world -class university spirit that promotes social progress, leads the process of civilization, and has its own characteristics And university culture. As the crystallization of the traditional culture of the Chinese nation, the opera has already broken through the border, not only belongs to China, but also the world. At present, the Chinese culture "go global" is justified, how to find and build an effective mode of external communication in modern globalization, how to promote the conversation between China and the world, and how to actively bear the "introduce the world to China". At the same time as this tradition, we strive to practice the new mission of "introducing China to the world" and become an urgent real issue in front of cultural workers. In the era of constant interchange and integration of the East and West culture, letting the opera "going out" needs to use opera as a cultural business card that China shows the world, and enters the temple of Chinese civilization by opening the door of the opera to understand China. The spirit of the nation is used to seek the various possibilities of the opera culture and the deep resonance of Western civilization. To this end, Beiwai must not only tap an excellent culture, but also give full play to the advantages of language teaching, and shoulder the heavy responsibility of spreading excellent culture. It is hoped that through the joint efforts of China and foreign countries, we will conduct a deeper study of court opera, to tell the world to tell the world, presenting Chinese American, and expressing Chinese hearts, and move towards the harmonious realm of realizing "the world in the world".

On the 11th, the forum group discussion was held in the conference room 507 of our school's administrative building. Participants conducted warm discussions on topics such as the study of the development history of court acting, the study of the monotherapy of the court, and the research of the cultural relics of court opera, and the venue of applause continued.

After the group discussion, the forum held a closing ceremony. Tao Jiajun, the vice president of our school, closed his resignation, and Tao Jiajun, executive vice president of the Graduate School, attended the closing ceremony.

That night, the Beijing Peking Theater performed the three wonderful Peking Opera Drama in the forum in the Thousands of people's auditoriums, "Step Fairy Grass", "Sky Girl Sanhua" and "War Horse Super".
