On October 21, the 16th multi -language interpretation contest co -sponsored by the China Translation Association and the Beijing Second Foreign Language College was held in Beijing. Beiwai students achieved good results in multiple languages.This contest contains a total of 7 types of Japanese, French, German, Russian, North Korea , Spanish, Arabic, and 8 projects. Earlights in various languages are divided into three stages: preliminary, rematch and finals. The content involves politics, economy, culture, science and technology and other fields. At the same time, hot themes such as science and education, artificial intelligence and environmental protection, while examining the ability of players, pay attention to their cross -cultural communication skills, select export -level translation levels, rich knowledge reserves, and can communicate international cultural exchange talents in China and foreign countries. 178 players from 81 universities at home and abroad participated in the preliminary round. After the preliminary selection, a total of 46 universities in 46 universities entered the rematch.
