On the afternoon of May 27, the fifth lecture on the "Global History and China 2015" series of lectures was held in the lecture hall on the third floor of the library. Geng Sheng, a researcher at the Institute of History of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, made a lecture entitled "China of the World -Chinese History Research in the French Academy of France in the French Academy". Geng Sheng first reviewed the realistic background of the strategic concept of the "Belt and Road". It is believed that the "21st Century Silk Road" proposed by the central government is the concept of the national strategic level. To better study the "Silk Road" in history.

Essence Geng Sheng combined the two hundred years of Sinology of French College with the research on the Silk Road to introduce the history of the French Academy and the "Chinese and the Manchu Lecture Lecture" set up in 1814, and then introduce Lei Musha in turn, in turn, Nine "Sinology Lectures" of French schools such as Rulian, Deli, Shayu, Ma Bole, Dai Mi, Shi Tai'an, Xie Henen, and Wei Yixin, and two "Sinology Lectures", as well as the two "Western History Lectures" of Boxi Hehe and Han Baishi. The lecturer professors analyzed their lives and main achievements, and at the same time, they described their important contributions to the study of the Silk Road through translation, annotations, archeology, and literature sorting and field surveys.

Teachers and students of the Global History Research Institute, French Department, School of International Relations, and the Sinology Research Center of overseas attended the lecture.
