On the afternoon of September 6, the school held the "Public Foreign Discipline Development and New Think Tank Construction Association" in the conference room 507 of the administrative building. Zhao Qizheng, former director of the State Council Information Office and Honorary Director of the Public Foreign Diplomacy Research Center of our school, Peng Long, the principal, Yan Guohua, Jia Wenjian, and Sun Youzhong attended the meeting.

Zhao Qizheng made a keynote speech entitled "Times need public diplomacy, public diplomacy needs Beiwai". The "Belt and Road" and other explained, and for the development of public diplomacy research and development of Beiwai: regional state -owned public diplomacy research, national rhetoric and national discourse research, strategic communication and public diplomacy, and think tank construction.

Peng Long and Sun Youzhong commented on the problems and advantages of the development of public diplomacy in our school and made suggestions. Participants discussed the future development direction of public diplomatic disciplines in our school.
